Stay Focused and Trust the Plan
For the past 5 months, I have struggled with where God wanted me to be. I currently live near New Haven Kentucky in a community called Melody Lake. I am single now and recently retired. This is where the struggle began. I have a daughter, 3 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren living in Arkansas. I have a daughter, 3 sons, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren that live in 2 locations in Tennessee. Where do I go? I don’t want to be by myself. I prayed for God to show me. In the past 1 ½ months, I traveled to spend time with all of them. I had a wonderful time. I was hoping that I would find out the answer.
After I finally quit struggling, God gave me the answer. He instructed me to stay where I am and be content in all things. He let me know that He would move me when it’s time. Sound familiar. I wrote a blog on this a few weeks back. A dear friend of mine gave me a word from God. She heard from God that I should stay focused and trust the plan.
Guess what the plan is. God has opened the door for me to start a Bible study here at Melody Lake this coming Sunday. I love my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with my life. But for now, it’s about winning souls for the Kingdom of God. I have no idea where this is going. I do know that what’s to come in my life will be bigger and better. Remember what it says in 1 Samuel 15:22, “Obedience is better that sacrifice”.
Please be in prayer for the Bible study starting this Sunday. Also, please say a prayer for me as I seek to stay focused and follow God’s trusted plan.
