Judgement Day

Just 7 years old, I started having a dream of a huge throne room. There was a throne so big that all I could see of the King who was sitting on it was from his lap to the floor. All the people standing in front of him looked like they were only an inch tall. They were divided into two groups. The people on the left were in a dim light and it was dark behind them. On the right the people were in a bright light, almost golden behind them.

As the people approached the Throne of the King, He would lift his right hand and point to the wall behind them. They would turn and look, each person's life would play back like a movie. It took only what seemed like seconds. Then they would answer his questions. Some were led away to the pitch darkness, while others went joyfully into the golden light.

It was finally my turn to look at the screen to watch my life play out. As I started turning to look, I woke up, trembling, but relieved. I had that dream two or three times a year until I was 16 or 17 years old. I didn't realize what I was seeing was the great Judgement Day until I got saved at age 24 and was going to church. I asked our pastor what it meant and he told me to read the book of Revelation chapter 20 verses 12-14.
