In Tune with God
One of the most important things in the times we are living in is to be in tune with God. When God speaks to us, we need to know it is Him. The first thing we need to do is read the Bible. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to show thyself approved unto God.” We need to be tuned in to the right channel. Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:15 that there will be wolves in sheep’s clothing. We need to discern what we are hearing is of God.
The second thing is to eliminate the static so we can clearly hear God. We may be tuned in to the right channel, but things in our life cause us to not hear clearly. It can be an attitude, addiction, or even a relationship. We need to draw nearer to God through prayer. He will help with the static by fine tuning us in to His station. Once we are fined tuned, we can know that what we are hearing is truly from God.
