Faith of a Child
Do we have faith that God will take care of us and give us what we need? This is easier said than done. Do I trust God and his promises, and the assurance of things that are hoped for but not yet seen?
Hebrews 11:1 reads- “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen, it gives us assurance about things we cannot see."
God has recently revealed a way for me to understand faith. Looking back on my childhood, I can’t remember worrying about anything. I had a roof over my head, food to eat and clothing to wear. My sister and I had pretty much what we needed and more. We had childhood faith that our earthly father and mother would take care of us and supply all our needs. That’s what I call unwavering faith.
It brings me to this. How much greater is our Heavenly Father that He will not do these things and even more.
Philippians 4:19 reads- “But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
I am continuing to improve with my faith. It’s so simple that sometimes I make it hard. When I start to doubt, I pray that God will give me the faith of a child to know He is my Father and will take care of all my needs. May God richly bless each of you.
