Be Still
Be still is mentioned thirty one times in the Bible. Therefor it seems to be very important notion. In English it means be silent and do not move. However, its meaning goes deeper than that. In Hebrew it means stop struggling and to put your hands down by your sides. In other words let go of it, pause and reflect. Rest and quit worrying, God has got this. A lot of times we give it to God just to turn around and put our hands on it, thinking we can fix it on our ourselves. But all we are doing at that point is just making it worse. He does not need our help. He needs us to let go and be patient instead of getting in his way. We are just making the wait longer when we get in our own way. We need to relax knowing He is the only one who can fix it.
